What alloy brass for keymaking Empty What alloy brass for keymaking

OK this is doing my head in. Tried various generic brass types from ebay but they crumble on trying to forge them. I anneal well then a quick few blows later they disintegrate. Which alloy is best for cold forging? CZ108? cz121?
